Here's a Space Marine Terminator I got with last month's White Dwarf :XD: Decided to corrupt him for the hell of it, seeing as someone pinched a miniature from my Chaos force :iconnotimpressedplz: YOU OWE ME A TAU FIGURE NOW, JARAD! LOL

So... Yeah. He's there to fill the void in my squad.

*headdesk* *gets back to work on the Defiler* Not long now and I'll have some Khorne Berserkers for my rogue chapter... Need to get some Green Stuff, too. Tired of fishing through my Bitz Box for parts.

Nice clean conversion and I especially like the greasy, dirty brass. For some reason he makes me think of Chaos Gate.

Thank you! :)
Though since uploading this, I've added highlights to the figure and learned that thinning my paints down = better. XD;

I've just got back to painting myself after several years and I'm using plenty of thin coats too, it's the thing to do so they say.

Yeah, thinner coats preserve the details of the sculpt. Thick paint coats tend to fill in gaps and then paintstripper is needed. Mind you, I personally find it impossible to thin down the metallic paints without them losing their sheen, especially the shining gold. I slap that stuff on quite thick.

I've not been painting for too long, so I'm still learning. lol

Yes, I started using Boltgun Metal watered down and it does seperate the paint out quite a lot. Apparently using nuetral (clear I suppose) washing up liquid watered down and then adding that to the paint thins it but gives it body, I haven't tried it myself yet so I don't know how well that works.
